Cornerstone held its annual missions conference July 30th- August 1st. This year our speakers were Dr Bud Calvert and Br Mark Batory as well as several other missionaries. The theme was Make Me a Witness, a challenge to engage our community with the gospel.
Conference Speakers
Dr. Bud Calvert
Dr. Calvert is the pastor emeritus of Fairfax Baptist Temple in Virginia and is a veteran church planter. His experience and vision is sure to be an encouragement to our church as we move forward.
Dr. Mark Batory
Dr. Batory is the executive director of the GFA mission board. GFA has been sending out missionaries for fifty years and has missionaries in thirty different countries. Dr. Batory will encourage us with a fresh view of God working in powerful ways all across the globe.
